11 ноември 2013... Този ден два млади морски орли няма да забравят дълго!
Vytautas Eigirdas, служител на опръстенителската станция Ventes Ragas в Литва бил абсолютно изумен, когато забелязал 2 млади морски орела в калта в средата на празен водоем. Човекът решава да не губи време, оставя приятелката си на брега и нагазва в лепкавата кал, която била толкова гъста и дълбока, че скоро ботушите му вече били пълни с нея и той едвам ходел. Стигайки до двете безпомощни птици, осъзнал, че няма да може да ги носи сам, защото това са огромни птици. Увил ги в якето си и ги затеглил към брега, където стигнал абсолютно изтощен.
След 2 дни рехабилитация едната птица е напълно възстановена и освободена. Другата се очаква да бъде освободена утре.

11th of November.. That day, two juveniles White-tailed eagles won't forget for a long time!
Ventes ragas ringing station employee Vytautas Eigirdas was absolutely stunned when he saw two juvenile White-tailed eagles inside the mud in the middle of empty fish pond. Soon he decided not to waste time, eagles were in a big problem. He left his girlfriend on the shore and tried to get to the eagles as soon as possible. Mud was much more deeper than he expected before, his boots have been filled with mud, and walking with them was almost unbearable. But soon he reached both eagles and understood that taking them in his arms is not possible, so he decided to wrap them in the jacket and pull up to the shore. Finally, he reached the shore almost exhausted.
After two days rehabilitation in a good hands, one of them has been fully recovered and healed - he flew away by himself. Another bird is still pampering fish, and it is expected that tommorow he will be released too.
